Whether you’re new to Trinity or a long-standing member, one of the best ways to get to know others in our church is through Foyer Dinner Groups
Newcomers and seasoned parishioners alike are encouraged to join a Trinity Foyer Dinner Group (FDG) for the coming church year. FDG's offer a fun and relaxed way to become more connected to other “Trinitarians.” Groups are being formed in October with the first monthly meeting to be in January. There will be one meeting per month in January, February, March, and April -- for a total of four meetings. We will finalize our Foyer Dinner Group season with an "All Groups Combined" celebration dinner in the Parish Hall on May 3, 2025. Save the date!
What Foyer Dinner Groups are…
… small groups of individuals, usually six to nine people, who meet once a month, January-April. Meeting/meals are a maximum of two (2) hours in members’ homes or a restaurant. If a meeting is in a restaurant, separate checks are appropriate.
… groups are any combination of singles, couples, young people, retirees, people with school age children, empty nesters, etc. Groups will be thoughtfully curated by the Foyer Dinner Group chairs to assemble a cross-section of Trinity parishioners for strictly social events and to share a casual meal.
What Foyer Dinner Groups are not…
… a “Top Chef” competition. Meals are intended to be simple and stress free. We suggest the host provide the entrée, with others bringing a salad, vegetable, bread, dessert, etc. There are no “rules.” Each group will determine their own unique style. For variety, or for a change of pace, groups may wish to meet in the church garden for a picnic or at a mutually agreed upon restaurant.

… FDGs are not a bible study or prayer group. There is no agenda other than spending time with one another and engaging in stimulating and lively conversation.
How long do the groups stay together?
The format for the 2025 Foyer Dinner Groups is to meet a total of four times, once per month, January-April. Each group will determine the day/time/location that is convenient for their members to gather each month.
The 2025 Foyer Dinner Group season will wrap up with a fifth and final gathering on May 3 at the "All Groups Combined" Celebration Dinner themed party in the Parish Hall. As a special treat for the final “all groups” dinner, we plan to create an entertaining slide show with photo memories from all of our 2025 FDGs. Please take photos at your monthly gatherings!
