August 7: The Rev. John Soard
Sermon: Following Jesus with Our Time and Money

John Soard has been ordained in The Episcopal Church for 11 years and served three congregations, the most recent being the church plant Holy Family Episcopal Church in Houston. Before attending seminary, he was a special education teacher and youth minister. John is married to Claire and has four children (ages 10 to 14) that keep him on his toes. He enjoys learning new things, talking with people about Jesus, and cheering on the Baylor Bears!
August 14: The Rev. Dr. Jill Walters
Sermon: Following Jesus in Times of Trouble

Jill Walters is the Senior Chaplain at All Saints Episcopal School, where she coordinates the Religion Department and leads chapel for the Early Childhood and Primary Divisions. Before moving to Fort Worth, she was an Associate Rector and Chaplain at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and School in Amarillo. Mother Jill has a Ph.D. in Psychology and had a clinical practice and was a college professor for many years before her ordination to the priesthood. She has also been married to the Rev. Dr. Robert Pace, Rector of Trinity, for 34 years.
August 21: The Rev. Sean Steele
Sermon: Following Jesus Without Being a Hypocrite
Formation Topic: Social Enterprise -- How Can the Church Faithfully Enter the Marketplace
Sean Steele is Vicar and founding Church Planter of St. Isidore Episcopal, a 5-year-old community in Spring, Texas. Sean is always on the lookout for people left-out by how we traditionally gather as Church. He received a BBA-Finance from the University of Texas (2001), an MA in Theology from Creighton University (2005), an MDiv from The Seminary of the Southwest (2012), and is a fully trained Mediator (2007), Licensed Daring Way Facilitator (2014) and ICF Coach (2018). Sean has been together with his wife Rebecca for almost 20 years and together they have 3 children, Margo, Sebastian, and Eleanor and a Labradoodle named Indiana Jones. Sean loves all things related to athletics, particularly basketball, and is an avid Longhorn fan.
August 28: The Rev. Stephanie Moncrieff
Sermon: Following Jesus to the End of the Line

Stephanie Moncrieff served at Trinity as Clergy Associate for Pastoral Care and Young Adults from 2014 to 2017. She is excited to back to preach and see some familiar faces! Before discerning a call to the priesthood, Stephanie taught middle school history in Houston ISD. She graduated with a Master of Divinity in Anglican Studies from Brite Divinity School. After leaving Fort Worth, Stephanie served as Priest in Charge at Trinity Episcopal Parish and Preschool in Waterloo, Iowa and as Interim Lower School Chaplain at the Episcopal School of Dallas. Currently, Stephanie lives in Dallas and spends her time learning, singing, and creating with her two daughters, Eleanor and Madeline. She enjoys baking sourdough bread, reading, and walks with her husband.
September 4: The Rev. Dr. Robert Pace

Robert Pace is the Rector at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Worth, and he loves working with the church’s vibrant staff and lay leadership to continually explore all the ways we can “follow Jesus” in this world. He has a Ph.D. in History from TCU (and loves looking out his office window every day at his former university). He received an M.Div. from the Seminary of the Southwest, and was Associate Rector and Rector at St. Andrew’s in Amarillo before coming to Trinity in December 2019. He’s been happily married to the Rev. Dr. Jill Walters for 34 years.
September 11: The Rev. Erin Jean Warde

Erin Jean Warde (she/her) is an Episcopal priest, spiritual director, recovery coach, writer, and speaker. She is the author of Sober Spirituality: The Joy of a Mindful Relationship with Alcohol, coming out April 2023. You can explore her offerings around recovery coaching, spiritual direction, and more via her website. September 18: The Rev. Amy Haynie
Sermon: Following Jesus & Taking Care of Yourself
Formation Topic: What is Sabbatical
Amy Haynie has been a priest at Trinity for more than five years. As Associate Rector she has played a significant role in overseeing everything from Trinity staff, to pastoral care, to formation, and worship planning. She has also played a significant role in both our diocesan and national church committees and boards. She has been on sabbatical since August 1. She will focus her preaching and teaching on Jesus' ministry to her (and all of his followers) as we rest and refresh, and regroup to continue following him.
