Daughters of the King is an Order for women of the Episcopal Church organized in 1885. Every daughter pledges herself to a lifelong program of prayer, service and personal evangelism, dedicated to the extension of Christ’s kingdom and to the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish. We are women dedicated to serving our Lord and building up His Church.

If you have a private concern or prayer list request, fill out one of their blue request cards the next time you are in church. Cards are kept in small racks on the backs of each pew. Place your card in the collection plate, and it will be forwarded to a Daughters of the King member and placed on their confidential prayer list. If you also wish to have the name on the church’s regular prayer list, sign the back of the card. Know that Daughters' list is kept confidential.

The Daughters also maintain a card ministry. They meet on the last Saturday of each month at 11:00 in the kitchen and make cards, either from scratch or from recycled material, to be sent to be sent to the housebound members of Trinity, friends and relatives of Trinity folk, and to anyone that we hear of that would benefit from a remembrance each month. They also send sympathy cards and cards to people in the hospital or who are ill at home.

The Daughters sponsor a Hospitality Committee, comprised of four teams that take care of receptions at funerals and memorial services, the Bishop's Reception, and other events of that kind. They welcome more members to this group - either as team members or as alternates.
